Sailing into the last few weeks!

It is hard for me to believe that we only have four weeks of school left.  This week's theme is OCEAN.  My kids love this theme.  We will be doing all things OCEAN this week.  I am sure that one of their favorites will be the game, "SHARK".  You can click HERE to purchase this game by Deedee Wills.  Another favorite are the whales and sharks that we make from this UNIT  by Deanna Jump.  These look SO cute when they are finished.  :)

I also made a HFW game to use this week.  Kids will use a magnifying glass to read the word and write the HFW on the recording sheet.  I have also included a sheet for those more advanced to write sentences.  You can use #1-6 for most and copy #7-12 on the back for those who get finished REALLY quickly.  You know the ones I am talking about.  ;)  To grab your free copy of each - just click on captions under each picture.

  6. Thanks, April. I just checked out your blog and became a follower. :)

  7. I just found your blog tonight! Yay! This looks like a really fun magnifying glass activity! I can't wait to try it next spring! Thank you for your generosity!

P.S. I also loved seeing how you display Deedee Wills' writing station cards. I'm adding that area to my room this year and the pocket chart looks like a great way to do it! :)
